quietann, who is in Massachusetts, US. All characters belong to Lois McMaster Bujold, but what we do to them here is absolutely Not Her Fault. :-)
I am an older woman, married to Lord Auditor Professor Vorthys. I myself am a well-respected professor of Barrayaran History at Vorbarr Sultana University. My children are grown, and my beloved "adopted" niece Ekaterin is married to Lord Auditor Miles Vorkosigan. Her marriage has brought us more into the High Vor social world, where I can see the outcome of the history I study.
